Our Response to Covid-19: Communication

To our valued Clients,

We hope that you are keeping safe. This pandemic situation is unprecedented, with so much unknown about the future, we would like to let you know that we are for you. We are writing to all our 2020 Couples who are thinking of postponing their wedding to a new date. We have recommendations for how you can go about attaining your wedding but considering all the restrictions we are facing with COVID-19.

To all our couples who have temporarily moved their wedding to a later date, we will send you an amendment to your contract for your change of date.

Can we downgrade our wedding collection package to a Simplicity Collection (8 hrs) or Basic Collection (4 hrs) package? 

  • Yes, you can downgrade your collection package. Your deposit is transferrable to Simplicity or Basic Collection.
  • If your previous package is the Simplicity Collection and if you are downgrading to a Basic Collection, please note that this collection does not come with a free engagement session. If we have taken your engagement session already, we will need to charge you with the engagement session fee of $369.00 (plus tax)

Is our deposit/retainer fee refundable if we cancel our wedding? 

  • In the contract, the deposit or retainer fee is NON-Refundable. However, we are making an exception during these trying times. We will give you a full refund of your deposit if we find that we cannot provide you with any solution or if you are clear that you are cancelling your wedding. 
  • If we have already taken your engagement session and you are cancelling your wedding. You will need to pay the engagement session of $369 (plus tax). You will get a refund of the difference from your deposit.
  • We usually process a refund within the next two-month period. But since our cash flow has been dramatically affected by this situation, our processing time will not be until the first week of October 2020.

We only ask that you keep in communication with us to plan the re-scheduling and confirm our availability well in advance. Thank you to all of our 2020 couples for your support, it means everything to us now more than ever.

We’d like to take a moment to acknowledge how difficult these past few weeks have been for all of us. But especially for our dear couples who’s wedding dates might be affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

We would like to let you know that LCR Photography is here for you.

  • As per our last email, we mentioned that we have broadened our workforce to accommodate postponements for your new wedding dates.
  • There is NO FEE to postpone.
  •  We only ask that you keep in communication with us to plan the re-scheduling and confirm our availability well in advance.

We are aware that some of you, our clients, are feeling frustrated and stress about the unforeseeable future this pandemic is posing on us right now. You may already be thinking or have decided to postpone your wedding date to a later date. And because of that, we want to be prepared.

For our Clients whose dates might be affected, here is our response.

  • We at LCR Photography took a significant step in adding one more team of photographers in our company. What this means is “security” to our clients. Now, we do have a total of three units to accommodate multiple bookings in a weekend. We are ensuring that you will have photographers present at your wedding with the same exceptional photography skills and best-quality work that LCR Photography always delivers.
  • In addition to this, we are continuing to look for ways to make room for any re-scheduled dates.
  • If you have decided or still deciding to postpone your wedding date to any future date, we only ask that you keep in communication with us to plan the re-scheduling and confirm our availability well in advance.

During these unprecedented times, your support means everything to us.

We will continuously be monitoring the situation and notifying clients of the available dates we have for 2020 and 2021 in the next few days. We are in this together, and together we will get through this. While I feel sad for our couple that needed to move their dates, we are much looking forward to serving you when the time comes. And it will come soon.
